In a cosy little house in a vibrant city called Minabakari, a little girl called Simran lived with her parents.
Simran had always loved stars and planets. Gazing out into the night sky had become one of her favourite habits. Every night, she would try to count the stars and every night, she would lose count, because the sky was just too full of them.On this particular night, Simran was reading a book that mentioned the five pillars of Islam. Although she had been taught about them before, she couldn't quite remember what they were. Simran decided she would visit the library soon and find a book that would remind her about the five pillars. Simran's mother peeked her head through the door, letting her know that it was time to get ready for bed. Simran put on her pyjamas and brushed her teeth before climbing into bed. She said her bedtime Dua, just a as Mama had taught her: "Bismika Allahumma amootu wa ahyaa." NEXT

Chapter 2: Meeting The Lion Simran began to shut her eyes when, suddenly, she noticed a warm glow on her ceiling. Seeing that it was coming from the window, Simran got out of bed and walked to take a look. She gazed outside and saw a red spaceship landing quietly in the backyard. A hatch opened up on the side of the spaceship, and a golden bridge extended from the hatch to her bedroom window. A Lion stepped out, crossed the bridge, and entered her room. "Hello, Simran," said the Lion warmly. "I'm here because I believe you're having trouble remembering the five pillars of Islam." Simran nodded, her eyes filled with embarrassment. "I didn't mean to forget" She said softly. "But I promise I'll go to the library and find a book, so I can read about the five pillars" Simran looked down at her hands. "Simran, it is okay to forget, it's completely normal, you're only human" "Would you like to go on a magical adventure to learn about something special that you'll never forget?" He asked. Simran's eyes widened with wonder. "Yes, please!" she whispered. Back Next Chapter 3: The Planet of Faith The Lion led Simran to the golden bridge and watched as she carefully crossed over to the spaceship. He followed her inside, walked over to a built-in wardrobe, and pulled out a spacesuit for her. Simran slipped the suit over her pyjamas. The Lion led her to he cabin and gently buckled her into her seat. The spaceship powered on, and Simran watched as her city shrank into tiny glowing blocks beneath her. "Zoom!" The spaceship flew through stars and galaxies sparkling all around them. "Our first stop the Planet of Faith!" announced the Lion. The planet glowed like a giant nightlight. Beautiful Arabic words floated in the sky, swirling and dancing around Simran and the Lion. The Lion pointed to important words: "La ilaha illallahu, Muhammadu Rasulullahi.""This means there is no God expect from Allah, and Muhammad is Allah's messenger" explained the Lion. Simran watched the words turn into star shapes. "That is the Shahada," said the Lion. "It is a special declaration of faith and it is the first pillar of Islam.""I understand!" said Simran excitedly. "Allah reminds us to worship only him, isn't that right?!" "Exactly!" smiled the Lion. "Ready for our next adventure?" Simran nodded eagerly as they boarded the spaceship and soared off into the stars. Back Next Chapter 4: The Planet of Salah "Woooosh!" Off they flew to the next planet. This planet had four colourful suns and one bright moon shining in the sky. "Welcome to the Planet of Salah!" said the Lion. "These four suns and moon remind us of the five daily prayers and their times" "That is to remind us to pray on time" Simran said proudly, and the Lion smiled and nodded in agreement. As they explored the planet, they saw children gathered near a fountain, washing their body parts. "That's wudu," explained the Lion."Before we stand before Allah, we must purify ourselves and present ourselves in the best way possible" Simran stood beside the children and followed their lead. She washed her hands, face, arms, head, and feet, just as they did. The children led Simran and the Lion to a beautiful Masjid. Inside, the children stood in neat rows. "I'm going to join them!" said Simran. She took her place, standing with the others, all facing the same direction. "Allahu Akbar," they said together, their voices like a beautiful melody. The Imam led the prayer, and the children followed. The Lion watched quietly and attentively. "Salah is talking to Allah five times a day," the Lion whispered gently after Simran had finished her prayer. "We get the chance to connect with Him and thank him during prayer." "I love talking to Allah!" said Simran. "It makes me feel calm and happy" "I thanked him for letting me come on this trip" Simran smiled as she climbing back aboard the spaceship. Once they were buckled in, the spaceship soared off into the stars. Back Next Chapter 5: The Planet of Giving The spaceship whizzed past a beautiful green galaxy before coming to a stop above the planet. It landed gently in the most breath taking planet with the most beautiful green gardens ever! Flowers were blooming everywhere. "Pop! Bloom! Pop!" New flowers opened as they watched in awe. "This is the Garden of Giving," said the Lion. "Here we learn about Zakah, sharing with others!" As they walked through the garden. The Lion explained "You are expected to pay 2.5% of your total wealth to those in need , that's Zakah" Simran noticed children sitting together, enjoying their lunch. Suddenly, her stomach gave a loud growl as she looked at the food. "Here, take half my sandwich!" said one little boy, offering it with a smile. "Thank you!" said Simran. "Even sharing the little things make big differences," said the Lion whilst watching Simran share with the children. "When we share, our hearts grow bigger!" "Sharing feels wonderful!" said Simran, spinning around. "It's like magic!" "That's the magic of kindness," Smiled the Lion. They boarded the spaceship once more, and as they took of, Simran watched the garden and children grow smaller and smaller beneath them. Back Next Chapter 6: The Planet of Ramadan "Whoooosh!!" They flew to a peaceful planet where silver moons and shining crescents sparkled across the sky. "This is the Planet of Ramadan," said the Lion softly. "Here we learn about Sawm, fasting during the special month of Ramadan." The streets were beautifully adorned with glowing lanterns and Crescents decorations. "During Ramadan, grown-ups don't eat when the sun is up," explained the Lion. "It teaches them to be patient and to think about people who don't have enough food "What if the grown-ups are ill? " Simran asked thoughtfully. "Mama always tells me to drink lots of water when I'm ill" "There are exceptions for people who are sick, and for others who cannot fast for important reasons" The Lion replied with a kind smile. Simran looked around and saw everyone being extra kind to one another. No one said mean words. Everyone helped each other, and showed patience. "Being patient makes us stronger inside," said Simran. "Just like a strong muscle!" agreed the Lion. "The more we practice patience the stronger it gets" When the sun went down, the call to prayer for Maghrib echoed around everyone letting everyone know it was time to break the fast! "This meal is called Iftar," said the Lion. "After waiting all day, the food tastes extra special!" He joked and Simran giggled. Families gathered together, passing around dates and variety of delicious food. "Bismillah" Simran and the Lion said as they shared their meal with others. After eating, They helped clean up before heading back to their spaceship. Back Next Chapter 7: The Planet of Pilgrimage "Whoooosh!!" For their last stop, they flew to a very special planet. This planet looked like a beautiful city with a big, black cube in the centre. "This is the Planet of Pilgrimage," said the lion. "That special building is called the Kabbah. It's in a real place called Makkah! Muslims all over the world pray facing the Kabbah." Simran looked around and saw people with different skin colours, speaking different languages, all walking together peacefully, in harmony. "Look!" said Simran. "Everyone is the same here!" "Exactly!" said the Lion. "Rich or poor, young or old, everyone is equal when they come to Allah's house." Simran joined the circle and felt like part of one big, happy family. "Alhamdulillah" she said whispered, gazing up at the Kabbah. People were walking in circles around the Kabah. "Astagfirullah!" "Alhamdulillah!" "Allahu Akbar!" their voices echoing in beautiful unison. "This is called tawāf," explained the Lion as they joined the gentle flow of people moving together. "People come from all over the world for Ḥajj, a special pilgrimage to visit Allah's house and seek forgiveness and grow closer to Allah" Simran listened quietly. All around her, people were making dua. But one tiny voice caught her attention. "Please, Allah, help everyone in the world" He whispered quietly. "Ameen! She responded to the boy."This makes my heart feel warm," She said, placing her hand on her chest. "It feels like family all around me" "That's because all hearts become one here" smiled the Lion. "The ummah is one." Simran looked up at the Kabbah one last time. "Thank You, Allah," she said, before she and the Lion returned to the spaceship. Back Next Chapter 8: Coming Home “Whoooosh!!” The spaceship flew back through the starry sky, returning to Earth. Simran began to feel sleepy but oh, so happy. Her heart was full of all the wonderful new things she had learned, and she loved her religion even more. “Thank you, Lion,” she yawned. “I learned so much!” “You learned about the Five Pillars of Islam,” said the Lion gently. “They’re like five strong pillars that hold up a beautiful house.” “These five pillars help Muslims to be good and kind people and guide them in their faith.” The spaceship landed softly in the garden, and the golden bridge extended once more to Simran's bedroom window. “Will I see you again" asked Simran sleepily “Every time you remember what you learned tonight,” said the Lion said with a warm smile. “Sweet dreams, little explorer!” Back Next Chapter 9: Dream Land Simran climbed back into her cosy bed.
